Boeing sees Middle East as key market for growth - VP
Boeing had around 630 purchase orders in Middle East

Dubai - Mubasher: Boeing is expecting an increase in demand on commercial airplanes in the Middle East, said the company’s vice president of sales in the Middle East, Russia and Central Asia.

Marty Bentrott added in a press conference in Dubai on Satuday that the Middle East is seeing a lot of growth which makes it one of them main markets for the company’s expansion, not just for the current models but for the future airplanes as well, such as the 787-10 Dreamliner, the 737 MAX 10, and the 777X.

Boeing has a strong record of purchase orders in the region, with more than 630 airplanes, noting that the company’s clients are operating around 700 Boeing airplanes.

The company’s activity was not affected by the Gulf crisis, as none of the orders were cancelled, the VP stated.
