Mubasher: Boubyan Petrochemical on Sunday announced the completion of its stock accumulation period for purchasing Educational Holding Group’s shares.

The stock accumulation period commenced Tuesday, 10 October and ended 9 November.

Accumulated stocks in the acquisition reached 61.65 million shares, representing around 25.13% of Educational Holding Group, the petrochemical company said in a statement to Boursa Kuwait.

Accordingly, Boubyan Petrochemical’s stake in the Educational Holding Group, which is also listed on Boursa Kuwait, grew to 56.67%.

In late September, the Kuwaiti Capital Markets Authority (CMA) approved Boubyan Petrochemical’s acquisition offer to purchase the remaining 46.2% stake in Educational Holding.
