Cairo – Mubasher: The Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Index (MSCI) has announced its semi-annual review index (SIR) results for November 2017 for several Arab and GCC markets.

Elsewedy Electric Co, which is listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), was added to the MSCI, whereas Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding (OTMT) was removed, in the small-cap indexes segment.

The MSCI previously said it had added EFG Hermes to the large caps index, while Talaat Mostafa Group Holding (TMG) was removed, while Telecom Egypt (TE) and TMG were added to the small and medium-sized caps.

The MSCI conducts its semi-annual review in May and November each year.
