Mubasher: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) said that Viva Bahrain presented an offer to acquire Menatelecom Bahrain, a subsidiary of KFH – Bahrain, an affiliate to KFH.

The Bahraini company proposed the takeover offer to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) in Bahrain, according to a bourse statement issued on Boursa Kuwait’s website.

KFH clarified that this acquisition is still under study, noting that the bank will disclose any essential updates regarding this offer.

Viva Vahrain has launched its services in March 2010, being part of the Saudi Telecom Company (STC).
