ADX breaks 6 session-low Monday
The ADX’s trading volume decreased to 31.3 million shares

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index added 0.22% or 9.55 points to close 4,288.86 points on Monday, which is its first increase after six successive declines.

The energy sector added 2.96% after Dana Gas rose 2.9%, while the real estate sector gained 1.98%, pushed up by Aldar Properties and RAK Properties, which grew 2.28% and 1.47%, respectively.

The banks sector increased by 0.14% after RAK Bank, Bank of Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) went up 4.21%, 3.36%, and 0.27%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the telecommunications sector and its only stock Etisalat lost 0.31% each.

The ADX’s trading volume decreased to 31.3 million shares from 54.5 million shares on Sunday, while the market’s turnover grew to AED 103.9 million versus AED 91.9 million in the previous session.

Dana Gas was the most actively-traded stock, with 7.6 million traded shares, while First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) topped the market in terms of liquidity, with a turnover of AED 37.04 million through 155 transactions.
