Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian government paid debts at a value of SAR 11.55 billion during the first nine months of 2017, the Saudi Ministry of Finance’s (MoF) data showed.

MoF paid SAR 3.05 billion as debts, in addition to amortising governmental bonds at a value of SAR 8.5 billion, the ministry’s quarterly report of the budget’s performance in the third quarter for 2017 revealed.

The Saudi internal debt reached SAR 238.9 billion, whereas the external debt amounted to SAR 136.88 billion by the end of Q3-17.

The ٍSaudi governmental debt stood at SAR 375.78 billion by the end of Q3-17.

Saudi Arabian budget deficit dropped 40% year-on-year to reach SAR 121.5 billion ($32.4 billion) in the first nine months of 2017.

The Kingdom’s government debt increased to SAR 341.4 billion, from SAR 316.58 billion in H1-17.
