Mubasher: Total budget deficit in Kuwait registered KWD 2.33 billion ($7.73 billion) from the beginning of the fiscal year until October, according to the monthly report of the finance ministry in Kuwait.

Revenues totalled KWD 8.34 million in the first seven months of the current fiscal year the report said, adding that expenses amounted to KWD 8.46 billion from April to October.

A total of KWD 834.08 million or 10% of overall revenues was deducted in favor of the reserve for the coming generations in Kuwait.

The fiscal year in Kuwait begins on 1 April and ends on 31 March in the following year.
