Riyadh – Mubasher: Credit ratings agency Standard & Poor's confirmed Saudi Arabia’s rating at ‘A- / A-2’, with a stable outlook, on the back of the Saudi economic reforms and anti-corruption crackdown, including dozens of princes, ministers, and businessmen.

“The rating agency sees increased risk of policy mistakes that could result in increased domestic and geopolitical tensions from the recent shifts in political power structures and societal norms,” S&P added.

The stable outlook was attributed to forecasts that Saudi Arabia will be at pains to maintain the country’s liquid assets and consolidate the public finances by around 100% of the gross domestic product (GDP) over the coming two years.
