Cairo - Mubasher: Banque Misr has signed a EUR 250 million financing agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB), on the sidelines of the Africa 2017 conference in Sharm El Sheikh.
The bank’s vice chairman Akef El Maghraby said that the financing is the first tranche of a previously agreed loan of EUR 500 million
The loan will be distributed over two $250 million tranches, with a three-year repayment period.
