Cairo – Mubasher: Cleopatra Hospital on Monday announced that the second stage of its capital hike has been 304 times oversubscribed.

Subscription for the second phase of the capital top-up was 826.7 million shares or by EGP 413.3 million, Cleopatra Hospital said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Accordingly, the company’s capital increase has been 100% subscribed with 1.4 billion shares.

Subscriptions remaining from the capital hike will be returned to investors within a week, Cleopatra Hospital added.

The EGX-listed hospital group recently reported a 44.9% year-on-year surge in consolidated profits on the back of higher revenues to EGP 31.98 million in the three-month quarter ended September 2017 compared to EGP 22.06 million.
