Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Fertilizers Production Co’s (Mopco) board of directors has appointed Ibrahim Syed Abdul Salam El Kenawy as the new chairman and managing director of the company.

The new chairman has replaced Adel Mohammed El Mahdi Abdullah, the fertilisers’ production firm highlighted in a bourse filing.

Mopco last posted consolidated profits of EGP 241.84 million in the nine months ended September 2017, versus losses of EGP 99.29 million in the prior-year period, including minor shareholders’ rights.
