Mubasher: Qatar’s Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC) on Tuesday announced that it has signed an agreement with Al Asmakh Real Estate Development to manage Al Asmakh Logistics Park for 22 years starting from 2018.

The agreement was signed by GWC Group CEO Ranjeev Menon and vice president and CEO of Al Asmakh Real Estate Development Company Hassan Ibrahim Al Asmakh, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

No further details were provided on the value of the contract.

This agreement with GWC, the leader of logistics services, would play an important role in enhancing the company’s delivery of the project’s objectives to the end-user, Al Asmakh said.

Al Asmakh Real Estate has previously developed a logistics park over an area of 496,410 square metres in a bid to offer various storage solutions, including: 111,329 square metres of dry warehousing and32,067 square metres of air-conditioned warehousing.
