Dubai – Mubasher: DXB Entertainments on Tuesday announced that Dubai Parks and Resorts has welcomed about 2.3 million visits in 2017.
Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest integrated theme park destination in the region, has seen 796,000 visits in the fourth quarter of 2017, DXB Entertainments added in a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
The destination has delivered an average of over 20,000 visits in the last 10 days of December 2017, the company indicated, noting that peak daily visits approached 27,000.
In 2017, DXB delivered the highest visitation level to date, which reflected headway towards the strategic scheme and the new pricing and marketing strategy put into effect last September, said CEO and managing director of DXB Entertainments Mohamed Almulla.
“Our key visitation periods will continue to be the cooler months of the first and fourth quarters of each year and therefore we remain optimistic that the positive trends in final months of 2017 will continue into the first quarter of 2018,” he added.
“The company restructuring and transition from project delivery to an operational, consumer-centric company are now substantially complete and as we move forward into 2018 further operational synergies and the continued delivery of a destination-wide, world-class consumer experience remain our key priorities," the top official concluded.
