KSA releases all detainees from Ritz-Carlton
The accused persons were released from Ritz-Carlton Hotel

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi government has released all the remaining detainees who were involved in the country’s anti-corruption crackdown, an official said on Tuesday.

The accused persons were released from Ritz-Carlton Hotel which had been used as an interrogation center. 

On 4 November 2017, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a decree to form a committee chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to investigate corruption cases in the kingdom.

On Saturday, the authorities released founder of Kingdom Holding Company’s (KHC) Prince Alwaleed bin Talal from detention.

The financial settlements between accused persons and Saudi authorities include properties and other possessions, said minister of finance. 

In December 2017, commerce and investment minister Majed Bin Abdullah Al Kassabi stated that the kingdom completed its anti-corruption probe.

In November 2017, the Saudi government detained scores of businessmen, top officials and Saudi royals within the Ritz-Carlton hotel accusing them of corruption.
