TASI up, Nomu stable at Tuesday’s open
TASI’s trading volume hit 41 million shares, through 24,600 deals, generating SAR 812.01 million

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.1%, or 7.6 points, to 7,433.19 points in Tuesday’s early trading.

By 10:58 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 41 million shares, through 24,600 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 812.01 million.

The consumer services, energy, and banks sectors rose 1.45%, 1.07%, and 0.05%, respectively.

On the other hand, the telecommunication services sector shed 0.62%, followed by food and beverages with 0.46%, and materials with 0.07%.

Middle East Paper Co.’s (MEPCO) stock led risers with 4.6% to SAR 23, while Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al-Khodari Sons Company’s stock grew 4% to SAR 9.15.

On the flipside, the stocks of Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance and Malath Insurance fell 3.5% and 3.2%, respectively.

Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock was the most active in terms of trading volume after 7.5 million shares were exchanged, while Al Inma Bank’s stock led in terms of traded value with a turnover of SAR 124 million.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,993.66 points.

Development Works Food’s stock decreased 1.5% to SAR 66.8.
