Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s session with a mixed performance.

By 9:28am Kuwait time, the benchmark price index edged down 0.06% or 3.8 points to reach 6,707.25 points.

The Kuwait-15 index retreated 0.02%, while the weighted index added 0.03%.

Insurance companies led decliners with 0.55%, dragged by Warba Insurance which lost 8.17% to be the top loser.

The telecom sector went down 0.42% in line with the fall of Aan and Viva with 4.35% and 0.13%, respectively.

Meanwhile, technology companies topped gainers with 1.4%, backed by Osos which rose by 2%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 1.24 million after 9.7 million shares were traded through 410 deals.

Warba Bank posted the highest liquidity of approximately KWD 228,510.

Kuwait Real Estate was the most active stock on which 2 million shares were exchanged. The stock dropped 1.03%.
