Mubasher: Lloyds Banking Group’s profits increased in 2017, as well as the bank implemented buyback of share at GBP 1 billion.

Lloyds posted GBP 3.46 billion profits in 2017, compared to GBP 2.41 billion during 2016, according to a statement on Wednesday.

The British bank’s pretax profits increased to GBP 5.28 billion during 2017, from GBP 4.32 billion in the year before.

Analysts forecast that Lloyds’ pretax profits will hit GBP 5.89 billion.
