Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday's trading session in the red after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) edged down 0.47 points, or 0.01%, to 7,505.62 points.
TASI’s traded volume stood at 112.28 million shares on Wednesday, against 120.2 million on Tuesday, while liquidity decreased to SAR 2.78 billion ($740 million), from SAR 2.79 billion ($745 million).
The media sector fell 1.24%, followed by telecommunication services with 0.77%, and materials with 0.25%.
On the other hand, the transportation and consumer services sectors increased 1.3% and 1.17%, respectively, whereas the banking sector remained near stable.
Najran Cement Company’s stock levelled down 3.79%, to close at SAR 9.39, whereas the stock of Saudi Industrial Export Co’s (SIEC) stock was the most active after rising 9.99% to SAR 269.20.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, grew 52.34 points, or 1.72%, to 3,095.25 points.
Development Works Food’s stock rose 4.7% to finish the session at SAR 69, whereas Raydan Co’s stock dropped 5.33% to SAR 15.98.
