Mubasher: Qatar National Bank (QNB)'s assets under management in Qatar amounted to more than $4 billion, bank CEO Ali Ahmed Al-Kuwari said on Wednesday.
The largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region is mulling, in coordination with the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) and competent authorities, launching new financial services such as liquidity provider and market maker, Al-Kuwari told CNBC Arabia.
QNB’s net profits rose 7.4% to QAR 2.9 billion in the fourth quarter of 2017 versus QAR 2.7 billion in the same period a year earlier.
For the full-year 2017, the lender's net profits levelled up 6.2% to QAR 13.1 billion, compared to QAR 12.3 in the prior year.
