Mubasher: The board members of Bahrain Kuwaiti Insurance recommended distributing cash dividends and bonus shares for fiscal year 2017.

Bahrain Kuwaiti Insurance proposed 25% and 100% of paid-up capital as a cash dividend and a bonus share, respectively.

The insurance company, listed on both Boursa Kuwait and Bahrain Bourse (BHB), will pay 25 fils per share as dividends, according to a bourse statement on Thursday.

Bahrain Kuwaiti Insurance has a capital of BHD 7.2 million distributed on 71.5 million shares at a par value of BHD 0.10 per share.

In FY17, the insurance firm reported a decline in profits to BHD 2.6 million compared to BHD 2.9 million in FY16.
