Riyadh – Mubasher: Twenty Saudi and Egyptian companies have formed a consortium to implement reconstruction projects in Iraq.

These projects will create 30,000 job opportunities for Iraqi citizens, especially in construction projects, Okaz newspaper reported, citing Saudi-Egyptian Business Council’s deputy chairman, Abdullah bin Mahfouz as saying.

Egyptian and Saudi firms are expected to start the rebuilding projects over the coming three months, bin Mahfouz added.

The Saudi firms which are nominated to take part in these projects including Saudi Binladin Group, Nesma Airlines, Al Muhaidib Group, Al- Fouzan Trading and Contracting Co, and El Seif Engineering Contracting Co.
