Cairo – Mubasher: A Belgian trade delegation is getting ready to visit Egypt next March in a bid to discover investment opportunities in the North Arab nation and the possibility of partnering up with local institutions in different industries.

The delegation will also consider boosting the Egyptian exports to Europe, in addition to meetings top government officials to discuss investment opportunities in the Arab world's most populous country, Embassy of Belgium's Commercial Attaché in Cairo Hager Magdy told Shorouk News.

The Belgian delegation includes firms that export their products to the Egyptian market with nearly EUR 150 million and other new companies.

In June 2017, Egyptian investment minister Sahar Nasr said that Belgium’s investments in Egypt hit $672 million through 186 companies.
