Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) said that it is collaborating with the regulatory authorities to start the public bus services in Riyadh and Jeddah next Tuesday.

SAPTCO will announce the transaction’s financial impact during the coming period, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Monday.

Earlier on Monday, the Saudi Public Transport Authority (PTA) stated that the new public transport services, new public buses, in Riyadh and Jeddah will be launched next Tuesday.  

The service will be operated in Riyadh by a local company under the supervision of Arriyadh Development Authority (ADA), while the public buses will be managed by Metro Jeddah Company in the kingdom's commercial capital.

The cost of service will be SAR 3 from station to another, PTA added.
