Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian Attorney General, Nabil Sadiq revealed that the national committee to restore smuggled money and assets abroad has reconciled with famous investor and former politician Ahmed Ezz.
Ezz has agreed to pay EGP 1.7 billion ($96.5 million) to the Egyptian authorities, of which EGP 600 million will be restored from abroad.
Ahmed Ezz is a famous businessman, who owns the Ezz Steel Company, and he was a major figure in the National Democratic Party that ruled Egypt until the 25 January uprising.
