Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) approved the resignation of Ahmad Abdulla Juma Bin Bayat, the chairman, according to a filing to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).

The DFM-listed firm appointed Mohamed Hadi Ahmed Abdulla Al Hussaini as the new chairman with immediate effect.

“The board of director expressed its gratitude towards Mr Ahmad Abdulla Juma Bin Bayat for his loyal service, strategic oversight, and contribution to the growth of the company,” the UAE-based telecommunication services provider revealed.

The UAE's second largest telecom operator posted a 2.3% year-on-year increase in net profit during the full-year 2017, registering AED 1.75 billion, compared to AED 1.72 billion a year earlier.
