Mubasher: The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced that Sunday, 4 March, will be an official holiday for banks and financial institutions on the occasion of “Banks Day”, which is celebrated the first Sunday of March of each year.

All banks, exchange offices, as well as investment, finance, and insurance companies will be closed, the QCB said in a statement released on Thursday.

The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) and financial institutions will resume work on Monday, the central bank added.
