Cairo – Mubasher: Export Development Bank of Egypt’s (EBE) board has approved to raise issued capital to EGP 2.72 billion from EGP 1.72 billion.

The board also agreed to consider adjusting Article No.5 of the company’s main system to boost capital at the extraordinary general meeting (EGM), the bank highlighted in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.

EBE’s capital amounts to EGP 1.7 billion distributed over 172 million shares at a par value of EGP 10 per share.
