Mubasher: Giant entertainment company Netflix announced that former US President Barack Obama and his wife are currently negotiating the production of a TV show with the streaming services.

Barack and Michelle Obama are in advanced talks over the details of the show’s episodes which would give the former president and his wife the opportunity to tell “inspirational stories” to millions, the New York Times reported.

“President and Mrs. Obama have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire … As they consider their future personal plans, they continue to explore new ways to help others tell and share their stories,” Obama’s senior advisor Eric Schultz told the paper.

The show would not be used to comment on current US President Donald Trump’s criticism or address his presidency.

Instead, the New York Times expected Obama to discuss topics like healthcare, climate change, and other issues in his presidential term, while Michelle would likely speak about things she used to tackle when she was the first lady of the US like nutrition.
