Mubasher: Rashid Al Mansoori, CEO of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), urged all the QSE-listed firms to increase non-Qatari share ownership to 49% in a bid to enhance foreign investment in the Qatari market.

The QSE highly appreciated Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) decision to increase the percentage of non-Qatari ownership in the group's capital to 49% from 25%, Al Mansoori tweeted.

The biggest lender in the Middle East and North Africa by assets said that this move is in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 9 of 2014, according to QNB’s statement to the QSE on Monday.
