Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates NBD on Wednesday announced that it will repurchase bonds worth $750 million.

Dubai's largest bank will notify the holders of the notes maturing in 2023, according to a filing to the Nasdaq Dubai Exchange.

The buyback of bonds is part of the lender's programme to issue euro-denominated bonds worth EUR 12.5 billion, Emirates NBD said.

Moreover, the UAE-based bank will repurchase the bonds on 28 March 2018, the statement showed.

Emirates NBD’s profits hiked 17% in the fourth quarter of 2017.
