Cairo – Mubasher: Edita Food Industries on Wednesday announced signing a partnership contract with Dislog Group to build a food factory in Morocco.

Upon the contract, Egypt's maker of Twinkies seeks to reinforce its expansion plans and strengthen its position in the snacks market, Edita said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Dislog Group is an integrated distribution company in Morocco’s fast-moving consumer goods market, the filing added, giving no further details on the value of the project. 

Edita’s capital EGP 145.07 million distributed over 725.36 million shares at a par value of EGP 0.20 per share.
