Mubasher: US retail sales decreased unexpectedly for the third consecutive month in February, marking the longest streak of falls since April 2012.
Retail sales declined 0.1% last month, compared with a revised decrease of the same percentage in January, data by the US Commerce Department showed on Wednesday.
Economists had expected a 0.3% increase in retail sales during February.
However, sales grew by 4% year-on-year last month.
The EUR/USD pair last slipped 0.19% to $1.2366.
