TASI up, Nomu falls at Sunday’s open
The insurance sector rose 2.6%, while the banking segment inched up 0.5%.

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.34% or 26.7 points to 7,771.4 points in Sunday’s early trades.

By 11:00 am KSA time, TASI’s traded volume reached 38.8 million shares changed hands through 25,400 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 861.64 million.

The insurance sector rose 2.6%, while the banking segment inched up 0.5%.

On the other hand, the utilities, telecommunication services, and materials sectors shed 0.27%, 0.1%, and 0.02%, respectively.

Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance’s stock led risers with 7.03% to SAR 97.80, whereas Malath Insurance’s stock fell 2.81% to SAR 15.92.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, tumbled 0.57% or 17.23 points to 3,006.08 points.

Baazeem Trading’s stock declined 4% to SAR 24, while Arab Sea Information System’s stock added 3.67% to SAR 11.46.
