Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Wednesday’s session 0.48% or 36.95 points higher at 7,761.74 points.
TASI’s trading value increased to SAR 4.14 billion ($1.1 billion) on Wednesday compared to SAR 3.88 billion ($1.03 billion) in the previous session after the trading volume grew to 186.4 million shares from 164.6 million.
The retailing sector topped gainers with 2.6%, while the utility segment led five decliners with 3.63% in line the 4.2% fall of the Saudi Electricity Co to be the top loser.
The Saudi Company for Hardware's (SACO) stock was the top winner with a rise of 9.96% to SAR 133.20.
NOMU, the main index of the Nomu Parallel Market, retreated 1.5% or 45.2 points to close at 2,976.71 points.
Nomu’s Al Kathiri led five losers with 3.3% to SAR 23.92, while Abo Moati's stock was the only winner with a rise of 0.83% to SAR 12.16.
