Tom Cruise shoots latest Mission Impossible movie in Abu Dhabi

Mubasher: Hollywood star Tom Cruise is currently shooting the latest film of the Mission Impossible series, Mission Impossible – Fallout, in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.

This major Hollywood movie will take advantage of the Abu Dhabi Film Commission rebate for filming in the UAE emirate; this is the sixth instalment in the legendary spy film series.

Written, directed, and produced by Christopher McQuarrie, the new film also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, and Sean Harris, who all reprise their roles from previous films.

Mission Impossible – Fallout is scheduled to be released in movie theaters in July 2018, while its avail of the emirate's rebate on production spending, Maryam Eid Al Mheiri, CEO of Media Zone Authority Abu Dhabi and twofour54, said.

“Paramount Pictures is one of the world’s most renowned studios and twofour54 has supported their team throughout the shoot, ensuring that the process has been seamless,” Al Mheiri added.

Abu Dhabi Film Commission has posted a picture on their Instagram feed showing Tom Cruise in front of a UAE Air Force carrier.
