Mubasher: US trade balance deficit expanded more than expected in February, reflecting an increase in the goods deficit and a decrease in services surplus.
Overall trade deficit reached $56.7 billion during February, up $0.9 billion or 1.6% from the previous month, data by the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) showed on Thursday.
Meanwhile, exports grew by $3.5 billion to $204.4 billion, while imports expanded by $4.4 billion to $262 billion.
By 01:17 pm GMT, the EUR/USD pair slipped by 0.19% to $1.2255.
