Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Arabia has expressed its full support for the air strikes that targeted chemical weapons facilities in Syria.

The strikes were led by the United States Air Force, alongside French and British armies, and came after the recent chemical attacks that killed tens of civilians near Damascus.

The Pentagon said on Saturday that the American-led strikes against the Syrian regime, which was carried out on Friday night, had taken out the heart of the chemical weapons program.
