Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has announced that it will host the Grand Final of the European Tour Challenge – Tour season as part of its strategy to attract 1 million visitors through sports, adventure, and event tourism.

Under the title ‘The Road to Ras Al Khaimah’, the international event will take place at the end of October 2018, according to an official statement.

“Having hosted the penultimate Challenge Tour events in Ras Al Khaimah for the last two years, we are delighted to add the Grand Final to our sporting events calendar,” RAKTDA’s CEO Haitham Mattar commented.

The Road to Ras Al Khaimah followed a group of succeeded events including RAK Half Marathon and Dubai Tour cycling race.

“High profile sporting events also help us attract an increasing number of international visitors and UAE residents who also want to experience everything Ras Al Khaimah has to offer,” Mattar said.
