Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates NBD has inaugurated its first branch in Saudi Arabia in Jeddah as part of a huge expansion plan.

The Dubai-listed bank is planning to open two more branches in Khobar and Riyadh, which makes its network in the largest Arab economy the biggest compared to its business in the UAE and Egypt, according to an official statement released on Monday. 

“Our presence in Saudi Arabia leverages the UAE’s strong economic, financial and commercial ties with the Kingdom,” Emirates NBD’s managing director Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim commented.

Emirates NBD KSA provides a variety of services across retail, private, business and wholesale banking – along with corporate finance advisory. 

“Our increased footprint will enable us to forge stronger on-ground relationships with individual and corporates in KSA looking to invest and trade across the MENA region and beyond,” CEO of Emirates NBD KSA Loai Hassan Abduljawad said.
