UAE foreign assets rise 10% in Q1

Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The UAE Central Bank has reported a 10.3% growth in foreign assets to a total of AED 336.32 billion by the end of the first quarter of 2018.

The rise in foreign assets is attributed to the increase in the current account balances and deposits with banks abroad from AED 178.83 billion in Q1-17 to AED 271.2 in Q1-18, as shown by official statistics.
