Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait on Sunday announced that Kuwait Food – Americana would withdraw from the bourse on Monday, 23 April 2018, after being listed for more than 34 years.

On 22 October 2017, the commissioners council at the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) approved the company’s request to voluntarily withdraw from the bourse, according to Boursa Kuwait’s statement.

In June 2017, Americana’s ordinary general meeting nodded to the optional delisting from the Kuwaiti market.

It is worth noting that Americana’s capital stands at KWD 40.2 million distributed on 402 million shares at a par value of 100 fils each.
