Cairo – Mubasher: Orascom Construction Ltd on Monday announced the completion of Natgasoline, the largest methanol production facility in the US.

The facility, located in Beaumont, Texas, has a production capacity of up to 1.75 million metric tonnes per annum, Orascom said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

It is noteworthy that a subsidiary of Orascom Construction has completed the construction of the largest residential complex for students in the US last August.

Orascom Construction Ltd had previously posted a net profit of $85.1 million for the full-year 2017, versus $53 million in profits in the year before.
