Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session higher amid positive performance.

The All-Share Market index edged up 0.09%, while the Main Market index and the Premier Market index added 0.13% and 0.61%, respectively.

By the end of Wednesday’s session, Boursa Kuwait’s trading value decreased by 12.2% to KWD 10.61 million on Wednesday compared to KWD 12.08 million on Tuesday, while trading volume declined 31.4% to 67.89 million shares traded from 98.95 million in the previous session.

The technology sector topped the bourse’s seven risers, adding 0.84%, while oil and gas headed the market’s four losers dropping 0.83%.

Kuwait Syrian Holding’s stock led Boursa Kuwait's gainers, surging 6.7%.

National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) stock, which advanced 1.4%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 2.92 million shares, while Manazel’s stock, which went up 5.05%, headed the bourse in terms of liquidity with KWD 6.74 million.
