Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Thursday’s trading session on a mixed performance.

The Main Market index inched up 0.04%, whereas the indices of both Premier Market and the All-Share Market shed 0.15% and 0.25%, respectively.

The insurance sector led gainers with 2.35%, whereas the telecommunications segments posted the worst performance after declining 0.5%.

The bourse’s trading volume fell 10.1% to 61.07 million shares on Thursday, down from 67.89 million shares on Wednesday.

On the other hand, the bourse's turnover jumped 10.1% to KWD 11.68 million, from KWD 10.61 million.

Umm Al Qaiwain General Investment Co’s stock was the best performer with 10%, whereas Warba Insurance’s stock retreated 11.1%.

National Bank of Kuwait’s (NBK) stock, which inched up 0.13%, was the most active in terms of traded value after generating KWD 1.93 million in a turnover.

Aan Digital Services Co’s stock, which closed Thursday up 5%, was the most active in terms of trading volume after 4.31 million shares were exchanged.
