Mubasher: Qatar Navigation (Milaha) on Sunday announced a 10.2% year-on-year rise in its profits for the first quarter of 2018.

Net profits amounted to QAR 260 million in Q1-18, compared to QAR 236 million in Q1-17, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

Earnings per share (EPS) rose to QAR 2.29 for the three-month period ended March 2018, versus QAR 2.08 for the same period of the previous year.

It is worth noting the Milaha’s profits dropped 34% to QAR 469.83 million during the full-year 2017, compared to QAR 711.46 million a year earlier.
