Mubasher: Qatar Central Securities Depository (QCSD) on Sunday announced that Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company (MPHC) would increase individual ownership limit to 2%.

The new decision will be put into effect as of Monday 30 April 2018, according to QCSD's recent statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

Moreover, the company is also expected to announce its financial results for the first quarter of 2018 on Monday.

For the full-year 2017, MPHC’s profits rose 9% year-on-year to QAR 1.1 billion.

By the end of Sunday’s session, MPHC’s stock, which rose 2.3%, led the QSE in terms of trading volume with 2.45 million shares, generating QAR 42.38 million in a liquidity.
