Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) is organising the second Future Investment Initiative (FII) which will be held in the capital city of Riyadh in October.
The event will mark the discussion of three major topics, namely: investing in transformation, technology as opportunity, and advancing human potential.
The PIF-sponsored event will bring together "renowned visionaries with the power to shape the future of global investment,” a statement released on Tuesday showed.
The 2017 FII saw the unveiling of Saudi Arabia’s Neom City, which will reportedly be launched at $500 billion in investments.
"The Public Investment Fund is developing into one of the world’s leading and most impactful sovereign wealth funds, and we look forward continuing to build strong strategic partnerships while also showcasing the opportunity for private sector participation as Saudi Arabia’s economy continues to expand and diversify,” stated PIF managing director Yasir Al Rumayyan.
The FII will run from 23 until 25 October in Riyadh.
