Mubasher: Kuwait Insurance achieved an increase of 9.7% in profits during the first quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in the prior year.

Earnings grew to KWD 4.98 million ($16.54 million) in Q1-18 from KWD 4.54 million ($15.08 million) in Q1-17, according to a bourse statement on Wednesday.

The incline in Q1 profits is attributed to higher net income from investments.
