Mubasher: BAE Systems on Monday announced receiving a GBP 2.4 billion ($3.26 billion) military contract from the British Ministry of Defence.

The defence company was awarded GBP 1.5 billion for the delivery of the seventh Astute class submarine and GBP 900 million for the next phase of Dreadnought submarine programme, according to a statement company.
