Cairo – Mubasher: Cleopatra Hospital Co on Tuesday posted a 97% year-on-year surge in consolidated profits for the first quarter of 2018, recording a net profit of EGP 57.19 million from EGP 29 million.

Revenues grew to EGP 347.15 million in the three-month period ended last March, from EGP 262.05 million in Q1-17, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Meanwhile, standalone profits climbed to EGP 41.11 million in Q1-18, versus EGP 15.3 million in the prior-year period.

Cleopatra Hospital had achieved a total consolidated profit of EGP 118.3 million in 2017, compared to EGP 89.4 million a year earlier.
